choice destination_____hideout

what i would give to live in one of the hollowed out volcanic rock underground cave rooms at the yunak evleri cave hotel. i would consider ditching civilization and become a modern day troglodyte is what i would do.

a labyrinth of roughly carved cave rooms with tiny peekaboo windows, yunak evleri in cappadoci boasts six connecting cave houses with 30 rooms that can be traced back to the 5th century. in this central region of turkey, restored cave lodgings are actually quite popular. one can choose from more primitive 'pension like' traditional cave inns to more modern adaptations like the yunak hotel, complete with jacuzzi and mini bar ( hence why it's my choice destination). yunak also resembles what i imagine the seven dwarfs of snow white would have lived in had they struck gold and were, er turkish. a lair as exquisite as this needs no further explanation:
